SkinCare Sisters

Since posting about the laser facial and chemical peel I had done I have had a lot of questions and request to share my skincare regimen. It has become a major priority in my life as I have gotten older so I'm happy to share it! Investing in your skin is one of the best things you can do for yourself!

Both of my older sisters, Liz and Rebecca have ALWAYS preached skincare to me. Liz always says "You only get one face for the rest of your life, so take care of it." Rebecca always has the best face mask and is always asking if I put sunscreen on my face whenever we are out in the sun together. I'm almost 30 years old!!! But I guess a big sister will always be a big sister. I am thankful for two sisters who taught me a lot about everything in life but especially taking care of my skin and the importance of it.

BUT it all started with my mom! She has amazing skin so to be completely honest we have good genetics with our skin! My mom has always looked younger than she actually is and she's always taken really good care of her skin! I can remember growing up and watching my mom put on her night cream and how it smelled so good! It's funny the little things we remember from childhood!

My mom, Liz, Rebecca and I went for a girls weekend in Savannah, Georgia before I got married and I remember being in awe of all the skincare products both my sisters had. It was amazing, and of course they let me use them because what are sisters for? When we left from that trip I realized I needed to step my skincare game up and really start investing in my skin. That was in November of 2016 and I had just turned 27. Now, at 29 approaching 30 in September my skin looks better than it did when I was 25. HONESTLY!

I got really bad melasma(skin darkening) around my mouth and cheekbones when I was pregnant/postpartum so my goal since has been to brighten and get rid of any skin discoloration. So most of the products in my skin regimen are targeted for that exactly.

I follow the directions on each bottle, always read up on what you're using and HOW to use it correctly.

I have linked all products directly in the description and also with a picture below for you guys!

Here is my regimen...I know it seems like a lot but it is QUICK. I promise! No matter what products you use, a good mantra to use is...CLEANSE, CORRECT, HYDRATE, PROTECT!

MORNING

Step 1; Mario Badescu Glycolic foaming cleanser (I only cleanse with this twice a week because it is for deep cleansing)

Step 3. Mario Badescu Seaweed cleansing lotion (toner)

Step 4. PCA skin Hyaluronic acid boosting serum

Step 5. Mario Badescu Hydro Moisturizer with Vitamin C

Step 6. Aveeno Positively Radiant daily moisturizer with SPF 30 (I use this if I'm not going to be wearing makeup because my foundation has SPF in it)

BEDTIME

Step 1. Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser (for heavier makeup days) or Ponds Evening Soothe Moisture towelettes (for lighter or no makeup days)

Step 3. Mario Badescu Seaweed cleansing lotion

Step 4. PCA skin Hyaluronic acid boosting serum

Step 5. PCA skin Retinol treatment for sensitive skin (just doing this twice a week right now because I'm slowly adding it back in after stopping breastfeeding recently)

Step 6. BABOR lifting RX collagen cream

AS NEEDED

Mario Badescu Rosewater with aloe and herbs facial spray (I use this throughout the day whenever my skin needs a refresher) especially when flying!

Mario Badescu Enzyme Revitalizing mask (I use this anywhere from once a week to 3 times a week)

sand and sky australian pink clay mask (once a week)

BABOR hydro RX 3D hydrogel face mask (for special occasions and events- more pricey)

Tony Moly I'm Real sheet face mask - I love all of these, so many different kinds and very cost efficient. I linked my favorite one!

I have a good mixture of higher end and cost effective products. I don't believe you have to spend an arm and a leg to take care of your skin! I think figuring out what is most important for your skins needs is the easiest way to figure out where you should spend a little more!

Mario Badescu is a great skincare company that's been around for a long time that is a great place to start if you need some help figuring out what you should get. They have a very wide variety which is very informative. They also have a really helpful skin analysis quiz on their website so you can get advice on what you need and the exact products you need for your skin type.

I also recommend taking advantage of sample sizes FIRST. Especially on more expensive products! Try before you buy to see if its something you really like!

If you have any questions please leave them in the comments and I will do the best I can to answer. I am not an expert by any means but happy to help if I can!
